Levent Emre Özgüç is a research assistant at the Department of Criminal Law in Koç University Law School. He is a Master of Laws (LL.M.) Candidate in Public Law at Koç University Graduate School of Social Sciences & Humanities. He has graduated from İstanbul Erkek Lisesi (2011) and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Degree from Koç University (2015).

Levent Emre Özgüç’s areas of research interest include criminal law, criminal procedure law, environmental criminal law, constitutional law and human rights law. He has worked as a reporter in the Oxford Human Rights Law Reporters Project and is currently a researcher in the TUBİTAK Project on  “The Impact of the Right to Individual Petition on Constitutional Interpretation, Interpretation of International Law and the Turkish Judicial System: A Comparative Analysis of the Judicial Patterns of the Turkish Constitutional Court Case-Law between 2012-2017”.
